Turquoise Times Ten Rolling Pin
If turquoise turns your head, get ready for a sore neck. Minnesota Woodturners Association member Jeff Luedloff is a master of finding beautiful burl wood—maple in this case—that alone is stunning and then filling the burl’s natural pits and holes with turquoise inlay. He does it not with just one handle but with both—wow! The barrel is walnut with its own streaks and shades, and I like walnut a lot. But the walnut takes a back seat to the turquoise inlay maple burl handles. I could not stop taking pictures of them (obviously)! Enhanced rolling thanks to food-safe stainless steel bearings makes this Turquoise Times Ten Rolling Pin truly a functional piece of art.
