The Maple Zebra

Sometimes you can’t make a magnificent piece of flashy, highly figured maple even more breathtaking than it is … so you don’t bother. Sand it smooth, add a shiny finish, and attach rich, black-and-red cocobolo handles. The stripes remind my granddaughter of a zebra, thus we have The Maple Zebra rolling pin. A steel rod runs through the barrel of the pin into each handle, and bearings at each end of the barrel ensure a smooth roll.
