The Flashy Cardinal

Sometimes you can’t make a magnificent piece of flashy, highly figured maple even more breathtaking than it is … so you don’t bother. Sand it smooth, add a finish and attach rich, red bloodwood handles. Bloodwood, from South American forests, is also called Cardinal Wood. Thus, we have The Flashy Cardinal rolling pin. A steel rod runs through the barrel of the pin into each handle, and bearings at each end of the barrel ensure a smooth roll.
