Touched by Turquoise

Sometimes you can’t make a magnificent piece of spalted, figured maple even more breathtaking than it is … so you don’t bother. Sand it smooth, add a finish and add touches of turquoise to the walnut handles, and, voila, you have the Touched by Turquoise rolling pin. A steel rod runs through the barrel of the pin into each handle, and bearings at each end of the barrel ensure a smooth roll. Truly the Touched by Turquoise rolling pin is a functional piece of art that you use and proudly display. Made by me, Gary Legwold of the Minnesota Woodturning Association.
