The Ash-Walnut Blue Light Special

The golden ash barrel is just beginning to spalt, creating the effect of high clouds at sunset. In this peaceful “sky” are dark blotches and two blue inlay spots that make the rolling pin sparkle. Moving out from the barrel are two thumb lines on the walnut handles that are a beautiful blend of dark and darker brown.
